Our Bread Share comes from Hudson Baking Co., a family-owned micro-bakery in Kuna, run by Aaron and Anna. They make true sourdough using old-world techniques, slow fermentation, and natural leavening. Using sustainably grown Idaho grains, their bread is easier to digest and rich in flavor. Each loaf is hand-shaped with simple ingredients—flour, water, salt, and time—never preservatives or artificial additives.
Farm-Fresh Eggs
Our Egg Share comes from Happy Hen Farms, run by Jack in Nampa. All feed is locally sourced from Treasure Valley farmers he knows personally and custom-formulated using non-GMO corn, dried brewers grains, and a reduced amount of soybean meal—20–30% less than typical diets—while still providing essential amino acids for healthy hens. Vitamins, minerals, calcium, and probiotics are added naturally, with no antibiotics or hormones.
Hens have access to outdoor areas when weather and safety allow, plus green material like fresh and dried alfalfa year-round. Barns are designed to support natural behaviors: multi-tiered platforms let hens fly, jump, rest, and lay eggs safely, mimicking their natural environment.

Our boxes are filled with an exciting mix of sweet corn, fresh herbs, root veggies, brassicas (think cabbage and broccoli), tomatoes, melons, stone fruit, apples, peppers, beans, squash, potatoes, onions and more.
The Wissel Veggie Club (CSA) 2026 will run 10 weeks, starting the week of July 28 ending the week of September 29.
Yes! Depending on availability, you can add extras to your box each week from our farm stand. Just be sure to add them to your order by Sunday at 10pm MT for the following week’s delivery or pickup. Extras may include (but aren’t limited to) additional produce, artisan cheese, sourdough bread, jam, and more.
We know life can get hectic, and we’ve made it easy to adjust! Each week, you’ll get a text when our harvest is starting, giving you the option to ‘skip’ that week’s order at no extra cost. Any skipped orders will be donated to a local food pantry to help those in need.
Being part of a CSA means eating with the seasons and supporting your local farmer. Substitutions are rare so we can honor the harvest as it comes, but we understand that serious allergies matter. If you have an allergy to a specific fruit or vegetable, let us know and we’ll do our best to provide a replacement when possible. If not, we encourage sharing with family or friends.
Yes! When you sign up for the Wissel Veggie Club (CSA), you're committing to the 2026 growing season here at Wissel Farms. By joining, you’re sharing in both the risks and the rewards of local farming. While we do everything we can to grow an amazing variety of produce, things like weather and pests can sometimes impact our crops—that's just part of the adventure!
Please note that this purchase is non-refundable, as it helps us plan and grow for the season ahead.
Our processing fee is $10. This small fee helps cover credit card processing costs and the expenses of maintaining our website and online shop, while also enabling us to expand with more add-on options for you!
